Qualifications and responsibilities for this Manufacturing Head of Finance & HR position include:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; oversee monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes
- 8+ years of accounting experience; prepare and review journal entries, reconciliations, and internal financial statements
- 2–3 years as an Assistant Controller or Accounting Manager; manage day-to-day general ledger operations and supervise A/R, A/P, payroll, and fixed assets
- Manufacturing cost accounting exposure; oversee product costing, inventory reconciliation, and variance analysis
- Strong understanding of inventory, cost absorption, and COGS; partner with operations to analyze labor, materials, and overhead
- Experience with budgeting and forecasting; develop KPI reporting and provide financial insights to leadership
- ERP/accounting systems and advanced Excel skills; evaluate and improve systems, workflows, and internal controls
- Ability to manage HR systems and payroll liaison responsibilities; support onboarding, compliance (including ITAR/EAR requirements), audits, and tax coordination
Salary: $85,000 - $90,000 per year, commensurate with experience, plus 10% bonus.
