Qualifications and responsibilities for this Electrical Designer position include:
- Associate’s degree (two-year college or technical school) with 2–4 years of related experience
- Proficiency in EPLAN or AutoCAD Electrical, plus Microsoft Office (Inventor or SolidWorks experience preferred)
- Create and maintain schematics, wiring diagrams, layout drawings, and parts lists for manufacturing and installation
- Develop detail and assembly drawings using CAD software and standard drafting techniques
- Perform equipment sizing and electrical design calculations
- Collaborate with engineers to interpret design concepts and produce detailed working drawings
- Knowledge of NEC and UL 508A requirements preferred
- Ability to travel 15%+ domestically and internationally, maintain a valid driver’s license and passport, and work overtime as needed
Salary: $80,000 - $90,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
