Qualifications and responsibilities for this Associate Engineer position include:

  • Associate’s Degree in a technical/mechanical field with at least one (1) year of experience (Bachelor’s preferred); support Project Engineers and assist in building the fuels group
  • SolidWorks/CAD design experience; prepare Bills of Materials (BOMs), manufacturing drawings, and engineering specification sheets
  • Strong technical knowledge; check drawings for errors and assist with engineering change orders and product structure updates
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred; coordinate engineering changes with manufacturing, purchasing, and product management teams
  • Ability to read blueprints and maintain accurate engineering records and control systems
  • Microsoft Office (Excel, Access) required; SAP experience a plus
  • Assist with prototypes and 3D printing operations; support cost reduction and manufacturing improvement initiatives
  • Positive attitude and enthusiasm; work cross-functionally with engineering, product management, and manufacturing teams

Salary: $25-$27 per hour, commensurate with experience.

Benefits: This full-time, permanent, direct-hire position offers great benefits including regular health benefits with multiple medical plan tiers (employer-paid portion), dental and vision coverage options for dependents, 401k eligibility after 6 months with a 3% match plus an additional match if contributing 2%, bi-weekly pay, paid holidays, PTO starting at 10 days in year one (15 days year two, 18 days year three), tuition reimbursement, and a casual dress code environment.
