This is an exciting opportunity for a Architectural Project Manager based in Orange County, CA, with a thriving and collaborative architecture firm that is expanding and launching its fourth office! Starting remotely and transitioning to a hybrid schedule once the Orange County office opens, this role offers the chance to be part of a growing, laid-back team experiencing a major surge in multifamily and affordable housing projects. Qualifications and responsibilities for this Architect Project Manager position include:
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture preferred; Licensed Architect, or in process (especially in CA) strongly preferred
- 10+ years of experience with a strong background in multifamily and/or affordable housing projects
- Proficiency in AutoCAD (required), even if not in a primary production role
- Experience overseeing production drawings and managing technical documentation
- Construction Administration (CA) experience with ability to visit job sites as needed
- Strong client management and communication skills
- Ability to manage staff and collaborate with internal teams across multiple offices
- Problem-solving mindset with a focus on technical solutions over high-design aesthetics
Salary: $80,000 - $120,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
Benefits: This full-time, permanent, direct-hire position offers great benefits including PTO (negotiable), 401(k) with company match (approximately 3%), mileage reimbursement for project-related driving, and air travel reimbursement.
