Qualifications and responsibilities for this Controls Engineer position include:
- Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of controls experience – Design, develop, and supervise electrical control systems and machinery
- Strong experience with PLCs (Rockwell preferred; Siemens a plus) – Program and support PLC-based hardware and software systems
- Experience with Drives and/or HMI systems (Ignition experience highly preferred) – Configure, implement, and troubleshoot automation systems
- Proficiency in ladder logic – Develop and modify ladder logic for industrial applications
- Knowledge of industrial standards and codes – Ensure systems comply with UL 508A, NEC, and NFPA 79
- Familiarity with industrial networking protocols – Support system architecture and communication networks
- Ability to follow established guidelines and technical instructions – Perform job functions under supervision
- Strong troubleshooting skills – Provide installation support, I/O checkout, startup assistance, and ongoing technical support
Salary: $90,000 - $130,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
