Join a growing and stable commercial HVAC contractor that specializes in large-scale rooftop units, split systems, and complex ductwork installations across commercial and industrial job sites. This HVAC/Sheet Metal Installer position is field-based, working on projects year-round, installing systems 10 tons and larger, with lead installers supervising helpers and crews. Qualifications and responsibilities for this HVAC/Sheet Metal Installer position include:
- 2+ years of commercial HVAC and/or sheet metal installation experience; install rooftop units, split systems, and large-scale ductwork (10 tons or larger preferred)
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams; ensure installations meet specifications and local codes
- Proficiency with hand and power tools; fabricate and install sheet metal components
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation; operate safely on rooftops and lifts
- Strong understanding of safety standards; maintain compliance with company and jobsite safety requirements
- Ability to work independently or as part of a crew; communicate effectively with project managers and foremen
- Professionalism, punctuality, and strong work ethic; maintain quality workmanship on all projects
- Ability to pass background and non-DOT drug screening; demonstrate long-term interest in permanent employment
Salary: $30 - $40 per hour, commensurate with experience.
Benefits: This full-time, permanent, direct-hire position offers great benefits including a company truck to take home, gas card, tools and equipment provided, $500 annual tool allowance, weekly call-out bonus, immediate benefits with no waiting period, BCBS medical, dental, and vision 100% company paid, 401(k) with company match, up to 4 weeks paid time off, and 9 paid holidays, with overtime available especially during the summer months and consistent 40-hour weeks in the winter.
