This is a unique opportunity to step into a foundational leadership role with a brand-new startup HVAC company in Clearwater, FL. This organization is being built with long-term growth in mind, combining strong technical leadership with modern, data-driven operations. They are seeking a General Manager – HVAC who will serve as the license holder, work side-by-side with ownership, and play a critical role in scaling the business from day one.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this General Manager – HVAC position include:
- Serving as the State of Florida HVAC license holder to enable company operations and growth
- Leading hands-on in the field during the first 3–6 months as a senior technician and mentor
- Recruiting, developing, and managing senior, lead, and junior HVAC technicians
- Overseeing daily operations including service, maintenance, and installation work
- Managing financial performance including pricing, budgeting, cost controls, and P&L oversight
- Driving sales strategy, customer satisfaction, and dispatch efficiency using ServiceTitan
- Ensuring compliance with Florida HVAC regulations, permits, safety standards, and employment laws
- Partnering closely with ownership to execute strategic initiatives and expand market presence
Salary: $90,000 - $130,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
