We are seeking an Ecological Project Manager based in St. Paul, MN, to lead ecological landscape construction projects for a small, tight-knit company known for its positive culture, family-oriented values, and commitment to sustainable land management. This is a unique opportunity to work in a role that blends outdoor fieldwork with in-office planning and client interaction—all while contributing to projects that improve the environment and local communities.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this Ecological Project Manager position include:
- 3+ years of experience managing landscape construction or ecological restoration projects
- Field experience working with unionized labor and native ecosystem restoration
- Skilled in reading site plans, managing budgets, and coordinating field operations
- Strong communication and leadership skills to collaborate with crews and mentor field staff
- Experience with native planting, erosion control, and landscape installation
- Familiarity with Stack, Excel, or similar project management/estimating tools
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to local project sites (company vehicle provided)
- MnDOT Certified Landscape Specialist certification is a plus
Salary: $60,000 - $90,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
Benefits: This full-time, permanent, direct-hire position offers great benefits including 3-4 weeks PTO, paid holidays, a $100-200 annual gear stipend for field labor, 401k with 3% match, a bonus structure, and a $150/month Health Reimbursement Account (HRA).
