Join a fast-growing, family-owned manufacturer as a 2nd Shift Maintenance Technician in Decatur, GA, where you'll play a critical role in keeping high-speed manufacturing and packaging lines running efficiently. As they push toward $50M in annual revenue and expand their facility, they're looking for a skilled technician who can take ownership of preventative maintenance and keep production moving.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this 2nd Shift Maintenance Technician position include:
- 2–3 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably with fillers, cappers, packaging lines, or hot fill operations
- Proficient in electrical, mechanical, PLCs, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
- Perform corrective, preventative, and predictive maintenance on processing equipment
- Troubleshoot electrical issues and support R&D and production runs
- Monitor and prioritize work orders, minimize downtime, and support continuous improvement
- Available for 2nd shift: Monday–Friday, 2:30 PM – 10:30 PM, with occasional Saturdays
- Comfortable working in environments with heat, noise, allergens, and industrial equipment
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks daily
Salary: $30-$35 per hour, commensurate with experience.
