Qualifications and responsibilities for this Electrical Project Engineer position include:
- 3+ years of experience in electrical or construction engineering, preferably in multifaceted project environments
- 4-year engineering degree or equivalent technical training and related experience
- Provide technical support for onsite electrical installations, including RFIs, T&M documentation, and field design issues
- Assist in construction planning, scheduling, material sourcing, logistics, and change order execution
- Manage interface between departments and resolve construction or quality issues to keep schedules on track
- Participate in meetings with clients, project teams, and vendors while supporting project engineering documentation
- Must have excellent organizational and communication skills, and be comfortable working in a fast-paced, “island-style” environment
- Spanish is a big plus; strong written and interpersonal skills required
Salary: $75,000 - $100,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
Benefits: This full-time, permanent, direct-hire position offers great benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) with 5% match, flexible PTO, annual performance bonuses, company vehicle on the island, and 3–4 company-paid trips home per year. Housing per diem and relocation assistance are also available depending on family size.
