Join a well-established leader in the natural gas industry as an Industrial Sales Engineer, covering the exciting and growing regions of Kentucky, southern Indiana, and southern Ohio! This is a rare opportunity to step into a high-impact technical sales role with a respected company that’s been serving major pipeline and utility clients for over three decades. With a small, close-knit team, zero micromanagement, and a flexible schedule, this is a perfect role for a self-starter looking to work with cutting-edge gas process equipment in a territory already rich with existing relationships.

Qualifications and responsibilities for this Industrial Sales Engineer position include:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering preferred, or equivalent military technical experience (especially in electronics or control systems)
  • Prior experience with natural gas regulators, valves, control equipment, or automation systems
  • Conducting technical sales calls, job site visits, and field audits with existing utility and industrial clients
  • Preparing job-specific proposals, reviewing technical specs, and coordinating manufacturer quotations
  • Providing hands-on product training, light commissioning, and field troubleshooting support
  • Ability to travel 30–40% within territory (company vehicle and expenses provided)
  • Strong mechanical/electrical aptitude and working knowledge of MS Word and Excel
  • Must pass DOT physical, drug screening, and background check (no felonies); valid driver’s license required

Salary: Base $70,000 - $100,000 per year plus commission, commensurate with experience.
