We’re seeking a Production Manager to join a well-established remodeling firm in Elm Grove, Wisconsin, with a rich 75-year history of crafting award-winning residential renovations. Qualifications and responsibilities for this Production Manager position include:
- Minimum 5 years of residential construction experience, including trim and rough carpentry, project management, and at least 3 years supervising teams
- Oversee all activities in the Production Department, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to quality standards
- Provide leadership and mentorship to Carpenters and Project Managers, assigning teams and monitoring job site progress
- Collaborate with Sales and Design teams during pre-construction to define project scope and resolve potential issues
- Utilize BuilderTrend and other tools to track project status, approve labor and materials, and manage change orders
- Coordinate trade contractors, maintain inventory and tools, and ensure quality control across job sites
- Review job cost vs. estimates, help drive profitability, and lead post-project analysis for continuous improvement
- Serve as a primary customer service representative for escalated issues or project changes
Salary: $100,000 - $110,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
Benefits: This full-time, permanent, direct-hire position offers great benefits including 85% individual health insurance coverage, 401(k) with 3% match, profit sharing, 2 weeks paid time off after 60 days, bi-weekly pay cycle, $600 vehicle allowance, $30 cell phone stipend, and ongoing paid training.
