We are looking for a Yard Technician based in Merritt Island, FL to support yard operations, material handling, and field team logistics for a leading specialty construction contractor. Qualifications and responsibilities for this Yard Technician position include:
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical outdoor work in varying weather conditions.
- Experience in warehouse, landscaping, yard operations, or similar roles preferred.
- Assist with loading, unloading, staging, and organizing materials.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly yard/laydown area.
- Operate (or learn to operate) forklifts and other material-handling equipment.
- Support warehouse and logistics staff as needed.
- Basic knowledge of tools or material handling is a plus.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to follow instructions in a fast-paced environment.
Salary: $20 - $25 per hour, commensurate with experience.
