Qualifications and responsibilities for this Machine Shop Manager position include:
- Associate’s degree in manufacturing, industrial, mechanical engineering, or equivalent experience; Bachelor's preferred
- Minimum 7 years of machining or programming experience, including 3 years of managerial leadership
- Strong analytical skills with advanced Excel experience for forecasting, reporting, and scheduling with material teams
- Hands-on experience with CNC and manual machining; familiarity with CAD/CAM and interpreting engineering drawings
- Oversee and lead the machine shop team including supervisors and programmers, promoting cross-functional collaboration
- Develop and manage production schedules from programming to shipment, ensuring quality and on-time delivery
- Optimize productivity, resource planning, and equipment maintenance to improve shop efficiency
- Monitor and ensure compliance with safety protocols, internal standards, and industry quality certifications (ISO 9001, AS9100)
Salary: $85,000 - $110,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
