Qualifications and responsibilities for this Plant Supervisor – Fabrication position include:
- 10+ years of supervisory experience in custom sheet metal fabrication
- Proven leadership and communication skills with a focus on safety, quality, and team development
- Strong knowledge of CNC punch and laser programming, fabrication drawings, and metal processes
- Daily oversight of production schedules, material availability, machine performance, and labor productivity
- Lead safety meetings, continuous improvement initiatives, and cross-department collaboration
- Analyze labor usage and cost metrics, manage WIP inventory, and support capital planning
- Proficiency with ERP systems, 6S methodology, and basic/intermediate Excel skills
- Coordinate with engineering and purchasing to support product design and inventory management
Salary: $70,000 - $85,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
