A growing general contractor in San Jose, CA is seeking a Senior Superintendent to help expand their presence in Northern California. This company specializes in large-scale multifamily affordable housing and offers a family-oriented culture backed by a decade of steady growth. With projects ranging from $40M to $100M and a sister company that is the largest affordable housing developer in California, this is a prime opportunity to join a company that genuinely cares about its people and their community impact.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this Senior Superintendent position include:
- Minimum 10+ years of experience as a Superintendent in multifamily construction; commercial experience is a plus
- Lead and supervise subcontractors to meet schedule, quality, and budget goals
- Oversee project timelines and ensure efficient workflow and production sequencing
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and conduct regular on-site safety meetings
- Maintain high standards of quality control through inspections and code compliance
- Resolve conflicts and communicate effectively with all project stakeholders
- Collaborate closely with Project Managers on progress, costs, and risk management
- Proficiency in Procore, MS Project, and Outlook; OSHA certifications required
Salary: $180,000 - $220,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
