Qualifications and responsibilities for this Assistant Estimator position include:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in civil/commercial construction estimating
- Proficiency in Bluebeam, Primer, and Microsoft Office Suite
- OSHA certification is a plus
- Strong cultural fit and open to long-term career growth with the company
- Local to Cypress area or within reasonable commuting distance
- Review project plans, specifications, and drawings for quantity takeoffs
- Collaborate with project managers and field teams to gather pricing and scope information
- Assist in preparing accurate cost estimates and bid proposals
Salary: $65,000 - $70,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
Benefits: This full-time, permanent, direct-hire position offers great benefits including 70% employer-paid health insurance starting day one, dental and vision coverage, HSA with $1,000 employer contribution, 401(k) with up to 5% matching, 15 PTO days annually, and two-yearly bonuses (mid-year and Christmas). The company also closes for the holidays from December 24th through January 2nd.
