Qualifications and responsibilities for this Heavy Civil Highway Project Manager position include:
- 5+ years of experience in heavy highway construction with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong computer proficiency, including MS Office and MS Project; experience with Primavera P6 preferred
- Proven ability to prepare and implement project plans and schedules, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery
- Skilled in negotiating with vendors and subcontractors while maintaining full contract compliance
- Responsible for managing RFI submissions, monthly billing, and change order negotiations
- Provide problem-solving solutions and real-time reporting to executive leadership
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience)
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills, with experience overseeing union field staff and internal teams
Salary: $125,000 - $190,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
Benefits: This full-time, permanent, direct-hire position offers great benefits including dental and vision insurance 100% paid for, medical insurance with 75% employer coverage, a 401(k) with a 4% match, PTO (negotiable), 5 sick days, 2 personal days, vehicle allowance, and year-end bonus (eligibility requires starting before July).
