Qualifications and responsibilities for this Roadway Department Manager position include:
- Professional Engineer (PE) license is required; Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
- 10+ years of experience in roadway/transportation civil construction
- Strong foundation in highway design principles and concepts
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Revit
- Lead and oversee all Roadway Department activities and staff
- Coordinate with clients, subconsultants, and internal teams on design and project execution
- Manage project budgets, schedules, scopes, and technical quality
- Support business development efforts including proposals and presentations
Salary: $130,000 - $165,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
Benefits: This full-time, permanent, direct-hire position offers great benefits including medical, dental, vision, life and AD&D, short/long-term disability, HSA, FSA, 401k with 50% match up to 10%, and 2-3 weeks PTO (negotiable). A discretionary bonus is paid annually based on company and individual performance.
