Qualifications and responsibilities for this CNC Lathe Programmer/Machinist position include:
- Minimum of 5 years of CNC lathe setup and operation experience, with strong proficiency in G-Code.
- Ability to program at the machine and optimize programs for precision and efficiency.
- Experience with Siemens controls and working with aluminum weldments.
- Skilled in setting up CNC lathes, including tooling selection and speed/feed optimization.
- Capable of supervising and training CNC operators and junior programmers.
- Strong problem-solving abilities for troubleshooting machining issues and ensuring top-quality results.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and manage multiple jobs at once.
- Commitment to safety, documentation, and continuous improvement.
Salary: $30 - $35 per hour, commensurate with experience.
Benefits: This full-time, permanent, direct-hire position offers great benefits including health insurance with 2/3 of the premium covered, dental insurance, a Simple IRA with 3% match, 7 paid holidays, three weeks of vacation (one week to start, negotiable), $15,000 life insurance policy, overtime opportunities, annual Christmas bonus, and occasional company lunches.
