Qualifications and responsibilities for this Water/Wastewater Engineer opportunity:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
- Professional Engineer (PE) license
- 8+ years of experience in water and wastewater engineering, with a focus on facilities design, planning, and project management
- Strong knowledge of water treatment processes, wastewater treatment technologies, hydraulic modeling, and regulatory requirements
- Proficiency in using relevant software tools, such as AutoCAD, hydraulic modeling software (EPANET, InfoWater, WaterCAD), and GIS
- Lead and oversee water and wastewater engineering projects, including planning, design, and construction phases
- Conducting technical studies, providing mentorship to junior engineers, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, conducting site visits, and managing project budgets and schedules while prioritizing health, safety, and environmental regulations
Salary: $100,000 - $150,000+ per year, commensurate with experience.
