Qualifications and responsibilities for this Traffic Engineer position include:
- Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in NC and SC or ability to obtain within 12 months of hire.
- BSCE from an ABET-accredited Engineering program
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in traffic engineering
- Proficiency in Microstation, GuideSign, AutoCAD, Synchro with SimTraffic
- Experience developing traffic signal designs, ITS plans, and traffic management strategies during construction
- Strong design, written, oral, and communication skills
- Experience working with NCDOT, SCDOT, and local municipalities is highly desired
Salary: $80,000 - $120,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
