Known for its top-tier reputation, impressive project portfolio, and multiple “Contractor of the Year” awards, this company is expanding and eager to bring on Traffic Control Estimators of all levels—from junior to senior—to support traffic control bidding efforts for DOTs, Tollway Authorities, and County clients.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this Traffic Control Estimator position include:
- Experience in construction estimating, with flexibility for both junior and senior-level candidates.
- Background in traffic control, concrete, paving, or other relevant construction disciplines.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field preferred; estimating certification a plus.
- Excel proficiency required.
- Review bid documents and develop detailed cost estimates using industry data and historical pricing.
- Communicate and collaborate with internal teams and external contractors during the bidding process.
- Analyze plans/specs and recommend solutions to meet project and compliance requirements.
- Build and maintain relationships with general contractors and clients.
Salary: $80,000 - $130,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
