Are you a Threat Load Development Engineer with expertise in signal processing, RF analysis, and software development? In this highly technical role, you’ll develop threat load programming for countermeasure systems, working on cutting-edge Counter-Improvised Explosive Device (CIED) and Counter-Unmanned Aircraft System (CUAS) technologies. Qualifications and responsibilities for this Threat Load Development Engineer position include:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or Mathematics with a concentration in Computer Science preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in computer design, software development, or computer networks.
- Strong background in signal processing, RF analysis, and software development.
- Experience with Navy Electronic Warfare (EW) systems, CIED, and CUAS threats is highly desirable.
- Extensive experience with MATLAB is required; experience with C++ programming, as well as RF device applications and signal processing is preferred.
- Develop and test threat load programming for countermeasure systems.
- Design and implement signal processing algorithms and waveforms for communications, networking, and EW systems.
- Perform RF analysis and use spectrum analyzers to capture test signals.
- Develop and test software for threat load configuration and system diagnostics.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance (no criminal history, clean financial history, and no foreign national contacts).
Salary: $65,000 - $115,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
