Qualifications and responsibilities for this Structural Engineer, PE position include:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering (Master's preferred).
- 5+ years of experience in structural engineering (minimum, 10+ preferred).
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required; SE is a plus but not required.
- Strong experience with wood, steel, and concrete structures, particularly in high-end residential projects.
- Experience using ENERCALC, RISA 3D and AutoCAD is preferred.
- Ability to conduct Bay Area site visits as needed; must be local to San Francisco.
- Hybrid work model: 1-2 days in a shared office or visiting sites, with the remainder remote.
- Client-facing role, requiring excellent communication skills to interact with architects, contractors, and homeowners.
- Work closely with a small, growing team to design and analyze structural systems.
- Collaborate on projects that require creative problem-solving and engineering expertise.
Salary: $100,000 - $150,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
