Qualifications and responsibilities for this Structural Engineer opportunity include:
- Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering, or similar
- 5+ years of experience designing structures - ground storage, water tanks, APIs, or silos a plus
- Professional Engineer (PE) or Structural Engineer (SE) license required
- Must be proficient in AutoCAD, Inventor is a plus
- Working knowledge of codes & standards: AWWA, IBC, ASCE, ACI, and AISC
- Familiarity with Finite Element Analysis (FEA) software preferred
- Provide engineering expertise for large capacity storage tanks, including structural analysis and foundation design, following relevant standards and codes
- Direct and oversee detailing work, prepare calculations and drawings, and offer post-design troubleshooting and problem resolution services
- Collaborate with various departments, including QA/QC, Safety, Project Management, and Procurement, and assist in bid design preparation, vendor submittal review, and design of construction equipment and systems
Salary: $100,000 - $110,000 per year, commensurate with experience, plus bonus opportunities.
