Join a reputable concrete construction firm with a solid history of delivering high-quality structural concrete projects across the greater Chicagoland area! We are currently seeking an experienced Estimator in Hillside, IL, to play a critical role in the bidding and project development process. This company is known for its specialized focus in structural concrete, offering stability, growth, and a supportive team environment for professionals who take pride in precision and performance.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this Structural Concrete Estimator position include:
- Minimum of 10 years of estimating experience working specifically with structural concrete projects
- Proficient in Hard Dollar and/or Bid2Win bidding software and Bluebeam for takeoffs
- Ability to perform detailed quantity takeoffs and cost estimates for structural concrete scopes
- Strong understanding of formwork systems, rebar, concrete mixes, and structural systems
- Prepare accurate bid proposals and budgets based on project drawings and specifications
- Collaborate with project managers and field teams for job costing and bid strategy
- Conduct occasional site visits (within a 60-mile radius) to verify conditions and logistics
- Participate in pre-bid meetings and assist with subcontractor and vendor coordination
Salary: $80,000 - $100,000 per year, commensurate with experience, an annual performance-based bonus.
