Qualifications and responsibilities for this Senior Mechanical Engineer position include:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (ABET-accredited) or 8+ years of progressive engineering experience.
- Expertise in thermal processing equipment design, heat transfer processes, and vacuum furnace systems.
- Proficiency in SolidWorks, Autodesk Inventor (preferred), AutoCAD, PDM software (Autodesk Vault preferred), and ERP systems (Acumatica preferred).
- Leadership experience with the ability to oversee and mentor a team of engineers.
- Lead and oversee the Mechanical and Hot Zone Engineering departments, managing design and development of vacuum furnace systems.
- Provide technical support to customers, sales, field service, and manufacturing while ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- Manage engineering software systems (PDM, ERP, CAD) to optimize business processes and approve designs, drawings, and BOMs.
- Collaborate with purchasing, vendors, and suppliers to source quality materials and maintain operational efficiency.
Salary: $100,000 - $130,000 per year, commensurate with experience plus annual and monthly bonus programs.
