A top-tier MEP engineering firm in Tampa, FL, is seeking a seasoned Senior Electrical Engineer (PE) to join their growing team! Qualifications and responsibilities for this Senior Electrical Engineer (PE) position include:
- Professional Engineer (PE) registration required, with a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
- 10+ years of experience in a consulting engineering environment, with field survey and system design expertise
- Skilled in creating detailed engineering drawings, reviewing submittals, and responding to RFIs
- Proficiency with AutoCAD and Revit; knowledge of AGi32, SKM, or EasyPower is a plus
- Ability to mentor and train team members, manage layout for power systems, lighting, and fire alarm devices
- Experience with Power Distribution System design, medium voltage, and generator designs
- Expertise in performing load calculations and sizing equipment, breakers, and conduits
- Familiarity with Florida Energy Code and NFPA standards
Salary: $130,000 - $160,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
