Qualifications and responsibilities for this Senior Electrical Designer position include:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field is required.
- 10+ years of experience as an Electrical Designer, with at least 5 years in power plant design.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD 3D and Excel, with the ability to create 2D/3D electrical raceway models, design drawings, and circuit routing.
- Expertise in electrical design for power plants, including electrical one-lines, raceways, and cable routing.
- Experience with Steam and Gas Turbine Generators, 480V & 4160V equipment, and Generator Step-up Transformers.
- Strong knowledge of electrical design calculations, codes, and specifications for power/industrial projects.
- Ability to produce Electrical One-line Diagrams, Three-line Diagrams, and Relaying Diagrams based on engineer input.
- Review and revise design drawings, ensuring quality and adherence to project scope, budget, and schedule.
- Plan and develop design layouts, perform calculations, and ensure compliance with design standards.
- Collaborate with engineers and project managers in a multi-discipline team to resolve design issues.
Salary: $100,000 - $120,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
