Qualifications and responsibilities for this Senior Estimator/Business Development position include:
- 10-20 years of overall construction experience with a strong focus on estimating.
- Must have business development experience.
- Proven experience on projects valued between $5M-$20M.
- Solid understanding of preconstruction and bidding processes.
- Background in roles like Superintendent or Project Manager is a plus.
- Preparing detailed cost estimates, including material takeoffs and subcontractor evaluations.
- Engaging in value engineering to optimize project efficiency.
- Collaborating with preconstruction and project management teams to ensure budget alignment.
- Presenting estimates for internal and client approvals.
Salary: $100,000 - $120,000 per year, commensurate with experience, plus a negotiable bonus structure.
