An innovative and fast-paced engineering firm is seeking a Sales Engineer to lead the charge in delivering high-performance, American-made equipment solutions to industries like pet food, feed ingredients, biomass, and food processing. Qualifications and responsibilities for this Sales Engineer position include:
- 2+ years of experience in process engineering, grain storage, or sales within food, feed, or biomass industries
- Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to understand temperature, drying, and cooling calculations
- Proven ability to manage the full sales cycle with plant managers, engineers, and owners
- CRM experience (HubSpot preferred), with willingness to learn systems as needed
- Ability to work independently in inside sales, with occasional travel (approximately once a month)
- Solid communication skills and a self-starting, teachable attitude
- Knowledge of equipment like hammer mills, cyclones, dryers, and air systems preferred
- Familiarity with SolidWorks is a plus, though not required
Salary: $45,000 – $60,000 base salary per year, plus commission, with total compensation typically ranging from $80,000 – $150,000 annually.
