Are you a seasoned Architect with a passion for residential design? Join an award-winning boutique architectural firm that specializes in high-end custom homes, featured on MTV, HGTV, and more! Located in Bloomfield Hills, MI, this position offers the unique opportunity to work directly under the owner, gaining valuable mentorship as you help take over day-to-day operations. With projects ranging from 2,000 to 10,000 sq ft across the country, this is your chance to lead a creative team in a firm that blends small-team dynamics with national recognition.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this Residential Architect position include:
- BA in Architecture required, MA in Architecture preferred
- 5+ years of experience in residential architectural design
- Strong experience in Construction Documents (CDs) and design development
- Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD
- Licensed architect preferred, but open to unlicensed professionals with strong experience
- Collaborate closely with the owner to translate initial designs into construction-ready documents
- Work with engineers, consultants, and clients to ensure project success
- Ensure compliance with residential building codes and standards
Salary: $90,000 - $110,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
