Are you an experienced quality professional with a background in steel and welding? A leading steel plant in Liberal, Kansas, is seeking a Quality Manager to join their team. Qualifications and responsibilities for this Quality Manager position include:
- Hands-on experience with steel, ASME, welding, and API standards.
- Ability to manage and oversee the quality control function, ensuring products meet established standards.
- Experience with API 12F-13th Edition, API 650, UL142, and UL2085.
- Certified Quality Auditor (CQA) and NACE/AMPP Coating Inspector Program (CIP) Level I certification preferred.
- Ability to perform and lead audits, including API audits at the fiberglass plant.
- Experience with large-scale tanks and welding configuration.
- Strong leadership skills to direct and train employees on quality standards.
- Capable of managing multiple tasks, prioritizing effectively, and maintaining high standards under pressure.
Salary: $115,000 - $135,000 per year, commensurate with experience, plus a bonus of up to 30%.
