Qualifications and responsibilities for this Purchasing Agent position include:
- 3–5 years of purchasing experience in residential construction, preferably custom home building.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills; ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in or willingness to learn construction software such as Procore, Bluebeam, and Excel.
- Coordinate plan take-offs, request and evaluate subcontractor bids, and award contracts.
- Maintain relationships with trade partners and support contract negotiation and tracking.
- Supervise vendor setup, manage invoice processes, and assist with lien releases and project documentation.
- Support the Construction Managers and field staff with all procurement-related information and coordination.
Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
