Are you a licensed Professional Land Surveyor looking for a flexible, high-impact leadership opportunity? We are seeking a Professional Land Surveyor to serve as an Officer for a dynamic marine and hydrographic services firm based in San Diego with projects across the United States. This is a unique chance to provide consulting expertise in hydrography while enjoying the freedom of remote work, percentage-based earnings, and the ability to maintain other employment with no non-compete restrictions.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this Professional Land Surveyor position include:
- Active California Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license – Serve as the qualifying licensed Officer for the company
- Strong hydrography experience (bathymetric, sidescan, and related technologies) – Provide technical oversight and consulting on hydrographic survey projects
- Proven knowledge of land surveying principles and standards – Review and support survey deliverables for accuracy and compliance
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment – Be available on an as-needed basis for specific project tasks
- Excellent communication skills – Collaborate with internal teams and provide professional guidance
- High level of integrity and leadership – Represent the company in an official officer capacity
Salary: Percentage-based compensation, commensurate with experience.
