Qualifications and responsibilities for this Procurement Manager position include:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement within construction, heavy civil preferred.
- Proficiency in negotiation, vendor management, and procurement software like Sage 300 or HeavyJob HCSS (or equivalent).
- Managing contracts and sourcing heavy construction materials and services.
- Developing procurement strategies for cost savings and on-time delivery.
- Monitoring procurement budgets and ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- Coordinating supply chain logistics to optimize material usage.
- Establishing strong vendor relationships and managing performance.
- Mitigating risks and ensuring adherence to safety and quality regulations.
Salary: $100,000 - $125,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
Benefits: This full-time, permanent, direct-hire position offers great benefits including 401(k) with a 4% company match, profit sharing after one year, healthcare through Oxford United Health (family coverage with minimal costs), PTO starting at 5 days after 3 months and 15 days after one year, and professional growth opportunities.
