Qualifications and responsibilities for this Plumbing Estimator position include:
- Minimum of 3 years of plumbing estimating experience with solid knowledge of plumbing systems and construction methods.
- Prepare accurate estimates for single-family, multi-family, and commercial plumbing projects based on drawings and specifications.
- Perform material takeoffs and labor analysis to develop precise, competitive bids.
- Use estimating software (e.g., Procore) and Microsoft Office Suite to manage and organize bid documentation.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and architects to ensure alignment on project scope and cost.
- Communicate with vendors and subcontractors to secure competitive pricing and accurate quotes.
- Prepare detailed client proposals that include value engineering ideas and address unique project needs.
- Analyze historical data to improve the accuracy and efficiency of future estimates.
Salary: $80,000 - $100,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
