This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the design of commercial buildings, government facilities, and K-12 schools, working closely with a small, tight-knit local team backed by a broader regional presence. With a focus on plumbing systems and opportunities for growth, this role is perfect for someone ready to make an impact and eventually become the face of plumbing design for the office.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this Plumbing Designer position include:
- 4+ years of experience with plumbing design for commercial and institutional projects.
- Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD, with a strong working knowledge of NFPA codes.
- Ability to produce design calculations and contract documents, including isometric riser diagrams for sanitary and domestic water systems.
- Review vendor, client, and architectural drawings to recommend necessary changes.
- Conduct technical comparisons and research design options, documenting findings.
- Collaborate with engineers and technicians to ensure seamless project coordination.
- Familiarity with Word, Outlook, and Excel.
- Ability to pass background checks for access to school and government facilities.
Salary: $70,000 - $100,000 per year, commensurate with experience, plus bonus potential.
