Qualifications and responsibilities for this Payroll Specialist position include:
- Minimum 5+ years of payroll experience, preferably in the construction or demolition industry.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required.
- Proficiency in Foundation Software preferred, or in similar construction accounting software.
- Extensive experience working with union laborers and subcontractors, including knowledge of prevailing wages.
- Process weekly and bi-weekly payroll for employees, ensuring compliance with union, legal, and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with project managers, HR, and accounting teams to resolve payroll-related issues.
- Manage and maintain payroll records accurately and confidentially.
- Generate reports related to payroll, benefits, and compliance as needed.
Salary: $65,000 - $75,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
