Are you a Mechanical Engineering Manager with experience in the design of electro-mechanical devices, including motors and motor controls? Do you have knowledge of SolidWorks, GD&T, and Mechanical Simulation Software? As a Mechanical Engineering Manager, you will get to own your work for each project, and from complex production planning and budgeting efforts, to tooling and validation.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this Mechanical Engineering Manager opportunity include:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
- 10+ years of experience with the design and manufacturing of electro-mechanical devices including brushless DC motors and motor controllers
- Technical expertise in design of electro-mechanical assemblies for mid to high volume production and production tooling/automation
- Proficiency using MS Project, SolidWorks, GD&T, and Mechanical Simulation Software
- Experience with ERP software, costed bills of materials, and Motor Simulation Software like Simcenter MotorSolve
- Basic knowledge of material science, hermetically sealed packages, stamping tool design, and ISO 9001-2015
- Manage multiple projects, identify and mitigate risks, create detailed plans and goals, and ensure accurate product design documentation and bills of materials
- Achieve cost and performance targets, and research new product and design concepts to improve efficiency and capabilities
Salary: $65,000 - $85,000 per year, commensurate with experience, plus annual bonus potential.
