Qualifications and responsibilities for this Mechanical Designer position include:
- Proficiency in SolidWorks to create designs, models, and manufacturing drawings (required)
- Experienced working with and designing Aluminum (required)
- Experience working with welders and others involved in the fabrication practices.
- Expertise in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel with cell equations and tables.
- Familiarity with GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) principles.
- Design and prepare GA models, dimensional drawings, and detailed bill of materials.
- Collaborate with fabrication, assembly, sales, and machine shop teams to meet production goals.
- Ensure high-quality, accurate, and timely completion of tasks with attention to detail.
- Apply advanced SolidWorks techniques such as configurations, design tables, and renderings.
Salary: $36.00 - $38.00 per hour, commensurate with experience.
