We are seeking a Manufacturing Technician in Buellton, CA to contribute to the fabrication of specialized parts using CNC machinery and Fusion 360. Qualifications and responsibilities for this Manufacturing Technician position include:
- Experience or training in machining, with the ability to read and interpret custom drawings and designs.
- Background in CNC machining and programming using Fusion 360 (training available for candidates with machining trade school background).
- Operate machines including Acra Amoro, RoboDrill, and GenMill with Sinumerik controls (fully teachable environment).
- Ability to work independently and maintain self-motivation in a small team environment (shop has about 3.5 technicians currently).
- Flexible to work on either day shift (start between 6:00 AM - 8:00 AM, end between 2:30 PM - 4:30 PM) or night shift (4/10s).
- Comfortable learning multiple machines, with opportunity to grow within the company.
- Some programming responsibilities expected, primarily using Fusion 360.
- Open to candidates from machining trade schools (like Allan Hancock) even with minimal hands-on experience.
Salary: $23.00 - $30.00 per hour, commensurate with experience.
Benefits: This full-time, permanent, direct-hire position offers great benefits including 2 weeks PTO, 11 paid holidays, 2 additional personal days, 40 hours of sick time, 401(k) with eligibility after one year, and quarterly performance bonuses.
