Qualifications and responsibilities for this Manufacturing Manager position include:

  • 7–10 years of CNC machining and CAM programming experience, with proven leadership skills to manage and mentor a team of machinists.
  • Expertise in programming, setting up, and troubleshooting CNC mills and lathes, including multi-axis machines.
  • Proficiency with CAM software, such as Autodesk FusionCAM and FeatureCAM, and a strong understanding of CAD for tooling and fixture design.
  • Experience optimizing machining processes, improving efficiency, and implementing preventative maintenance programs.
  • Ability to collaborate with engineering teams on manufacturability and provide DFM (Design for Manufacturing) feedback.
  • Knowledge of machining processes, including tooling design, fixture fabrication, GD&T, SPC, and quality control standards.
  • Hands-on experience in high-performance machining concepts, including high-speed and high-feed milling.
  • Ability to manage tooling inventory, oversee machine maintenance, and ensure on-time delivery of production schedules.
  • Proven track record of implementing lean manufacturing principles to improve workflows and reduce waste.

Salary: $100,000 - $125,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
