Qualifications and responsibilities for this Manufacturing Engineer position include:
- Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- 5-10 years of experience in precision machining, preferably in aerospace, with expertise in fixture and tooling design.
- Strong problem-solving skills (8D, Root Cause Analysis) and basic understanding of CNC programming principles.
- Proficiency in developing work instructions, Lean manufacturing principles, and process optimization (Green/Black Belt preferred).
- Design and optimize manufacturing processes for high-precision aerospace components, ensuring efficiency and compliance.
- Develop and improve tooling, fixtures, and work instructions for machining and assembly operations.
- Troubleshoot manufacturing issues, streamline workflows, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Provide technical support, training, and documentation to maintain consistency and traceability.
Salary: $85,000 - $100,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
