We are searching for a Maintenance Technician (1st Shift) to join our team in Newton, NC and ensure the reliable operation of our cutting-edge production processes. Qualifications and responsibilities for this Maintenance Technician position include:
- Basic understanding of machinery operation and maintenance.
- Prior lumber or wood packaging industry experience is a plus but not required.
- Learn and utilize the E-Safety program to document and track maintenance and safety issues.
- Monitor and ensure all machines operate efficiently and safely.
- Conduct preventative maintenance to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with production teams to address immediate repair needs.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Commitment to safety and adherence to company procedures.
Salary: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour, commensurate with experience.
