We’re seeking a Lead Carpenter/Construction Coordinator based in Tampa, FL who thrives on leading projects that transform communities through faith-based initiatives. This is your opportunity to take the lead on domestic and international construction builds like churches, schools, cabins, and medical clinics—each project is high-impact, fast-paced, and incredibly rewarding.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this Lead Carpenter/Construction Coordinator position include:
- Must model Christian values, actively participate in a local Bible-believing church, and be committed to servant leadership
- Construction laborer experience required; able to pitch in with framing, wiring, and general build tasks as needed
- Ability to read blueprints, perform take-offs, scope projects, and manage construction budgets
- 3–5+ years of hands-on construction management experience; strong knowledge of multiple trades including plumbing and electrical
- Lead and support volunteer crews on-site while fostering a collaborative team environment
- Coordinate procurement and delivery of materials for domestic and international builds
- Participate in planning meetings, buyout trips (2–3 days, 4x/year), and four construction projects annually (one week per project)
- Communicate effectively with executive leadership, missionaries, and church partners
Salary: $75,000 - $85,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
