Our client, a small family-oriented firm in New York City, is seeking to hire an Interior Designer with 6-10 years of experience in corporate office design and some retail. Our client is committed to creating a welcoming and collaborative environment for their employees, and they take pride in delivering quality work to their clients.
The ideal candidate for this position is an Interior Designer who is experienced in space planning, presentation preparation, construction document drafting, and furniture finish selection. The candidate must have excellent multitasking skills, the ability to work quickly and meet deadlines, and a strong motivation for design. In addition, the candidate must be organized and fast-paced, with excellent communication skills. The candidate should hold a 4-year degree in Interior Design or a 2-year degree with relevant experience.

Qualifications:
- Must have 6-10 years of experience in corporate office design and some retail
- 4-year degree in Interior Design or a 2-year degree with experience is required
- Experienced in space planning, presentation prep, construction document drafting, furniture finish selection
- Proficient in AutoCAD 2018 or higher, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop/InDesign), Google-Sketch-Up, Microsoft Excel and Word
- Excellent communication skills and ability to multitask
Our client is offering a competitive salary for this full-time, in-office position.
The salary range for this position is $75,000 to $90,000 annually, commensurate with experience. In addition, our client provides excellent benefits, including medical coverage at 50% with United Health, performance based bonuses, 9 paid holidays, PTO (2 weeks of vacation time, 1 week of personal/sick time), and fun company events.
