Qualifications and responsibilities for this Industrial Service Technician position include:
- Technical school graduate or equivalent experience.
- Experience with heavy industrial machinery; food manufacturing experience is a plus.
- Proficiency in hydraulics, pneumatics, and PLCs (Siemens/Rockwell).
- Strong diagnostic, mechanical, and communication skills.
- Travel to customer sites (85% travel) to install, maintain, and repair equipment.
- Provide remote technical support via phone and email.
- Train customers and new technicians on equipment use.
- Manage and document service visits and troubleshooting activities.
- Collaborate with teams across the organization to solve customer issues.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations during all tasks.
Salary: $65,000 - $80,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
