In this role, you will act as a technical sales expert, building long-lasting customer relationships, selling preventative maintenance contracts, and offering customized solutions for service and repairs on commercial HVAC systems. Qualifications and responsibilities for this HVAC Service Account Manager position include:

  • A minimum of 5+ years of commercial HVAC sales.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent, along with HVAC certification and 5 years of HVAC field service experience, or a Bachelor’s degree.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of mechanical systems, technical sales, and advanced business development strategies.
  • Build and manage strong customer relationships while identifying new business opportunities within the assigned territory.
  • Travel regularly to engage prospective customers and follow up on service and project needs.
  • Prepare detailed cost estimates, quotes, and sales contracts for HVAC service and maintenance projects.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (service managers, parts teams, and technicians) to meet sales targets and customer needs.
  • Track sales activities and develop strategies using CRM tools (experience with Salesforce is a plus).
  • Understand energy rebate programs and financial analysis (ROI, payback) to assist customers and close sales.

Salary: $70,000 - $110,000 base per year, commensurate with experience, plus commissions.
